Welcome to the Charlottesville Grotto's official website! We are a caving club based out of Charlottesville, VA affiliated with the National Speleological Society. We serve the purpose of exploring, mapping, protecting, and surveying our beautiful caves in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond! We organize and lead cave trips for grotto members. Many of our members are active in the Highland County & Page County surveys.
