High Top Copper Mine -12/03/2023

The rain stopped just before the 9 of us met (Tommy, Casey & Madison, Karl & Margo, Mark & YVonne, Scott & Josh). The 2.5 mile hike- Margo measured it- was, if not spectacular, pleasant. Much to my surprise, the floor of mine was dry. At the back of the mine, we found a packrat midden with its occupant. We saw some bats too. Margo found a turd in a drill hole (see pics).
