Norman Cave - 10/07/2023

This past weekend (October 6 - 8) a group of us from the Grotto went to WVACS Friday through Sunday and went on two cave trips.

Casey, Margo, Karl, Aidan, Katie, Chris, Murphy, and Harriet went into Norman Cave. We entered the cave at about 10am and came out around 3:30pm. We had a great time exploring the cave following the creek which got to lower thigh (if you are Karl) and to waist deep (if you are Margo) and then went down the Great White Way. You will have to check out the photos to see how cool it is. Chris and Katie did a great job leading us without getting lost! We headed back towards the entrance and into the West Virginia Room (maybe dry extension if you ask Casey). This room was huge with lots of formations. After spending plenty of time exploring, admiring formations, and taking lots of photos we headed back to WVACS.
